anybody have their AC snorkeled?

I didn't do my belt, just my air intake. I routed it right under my pod, you can't even tell it is snorkeled.

Does the VDI snorkel count? If so, it was pretty easy.
I haven't snorkeled my clutch (yet), but I do plan on it. After guzzling a few pints at spider lake this year and getting my clutch so drunk I had to get pulled back to camp, it got moved up the to-do list quite a bit.

Most of us down here snorkle the airbox right off the bat. The set up on the A/C's front airbox is risky if you ride in any water that has the chance of getting over the middle of the radiator. An added plus is that the snorkle gets the intake into better air and (from what I hear) you get a little boost in horsepower. We had a few guys who thought that snorkling your quad meant submarine riding but after two of those fellas nearly drowned out the kitty cats in water that was halfway up the headlights, they were at lowes the next day. While your at it, it would be a good idea to throw some silicone around those headlights too. I had water seep into both housings and after trying to clean them out from all the mud, I broke both of them. Not a cheap part !!!!

they're talkin about snorkeling the belt housing. the cool air intake to cool your belt. you should do the exit also. the intake is conected to the air intake under the front rack. they share the same intake 'box' i guess you could say. if this makes sense. basically 3 things need to be snorkeled: the air intake
the belt housing intake
the exit side of the belt housing.
anybody help me out here if youd like, im not a good explainer!!
most just do the air intake. i have a picture of a guy that snorkeled his on a H1 650. if you look hard enough you can see it sticking out of the front ,by the rack.
oh and if your that much into mudding, snorkel the exhaust. i hope this helps.

Yeah just put it around the back of the bulb housing and around the back of the light housing make sure it covers all of the back of the light housing. If you have to replace a bulb the silicone peels pretty easy. Here is a link to a guy on Highlifters A/C forum who gives pretty good instructions on how to snorkle a belt driven Kitty Cat http://community.webshots.com/user/AUCatrider
