I go full face 1 piece only. I like the protection from the dirt and mud...I also had my jaw saved after a crash on a CR250R with a full face. Really you should look at the area and style you ride and judge how much protection versus comfort you will need. My wife likes the open face, my son and I go full face....it depends on what you want.

The docs can build you a new jaw like you fill your gas tank anymore. But if you need CPR and have a neck injury (a full face because of it's increased surface and being heavier increases this risk) then your chance of being a quadrapeligic or being dead goes way up when they have to remove your helmet it the field.

But I will go for an open face helmet. Because when I ride my bike I can enjoy the surrounding environment and I also listen to other bikes horn behind me, which is important for a bike rider to ride bike perfectly.

Prefer full face. Can close visor if dusty/cold. Also wear glasses so goggles not viable. Trails I go on here in KS don't get trimmed so helmets are good for protecting your head from getting bumped by a limb.

I used open face helmets.I feel comfort and I think it's much batter than full face helmets. Open Face Helmets Review - is perfect for your any doubt.
