Yeah, no road sysyem is horrible for car lovers but great if you like to ride ATV's or other ORV's.

With the current price of fuel I would not reccomend driving the Alcan unless you are independently wealthy.

Getting good deals on ATV's here requires one to take into consideration shipping as well. Some consider it a hassle but I will take the peace, solitude and outdoor opportunities Alaska provides over the hustle and bustle of the mainland any day. Even days like today when its raining, snowing and blowing 40+mph.
