I have a 98 300 2x4.This summer I had my GPS with me and clocked it at 37 MPH. I weigh 275 and have a box full of stuff on back. A smaller box on front, full of more stuff. Had 6# of air. I am sure it would hit 40 to 45 with minimum load.

My wife's 300 2x4 will run around 45 47.I know it will just about keep up with my 500.
However, the 300 speedometer is not standard equipment on the 2x4 so it was a add on. It is off somewhat in mileage and speed compared to the 500.I have not checked either one with anything accurate.

The local Sheriff clocked me at 47 on the blacktop with my 300 4x4. The speedometer said 45. I weigh about 240 pounds.

essen: Hope the sheriff was doing this as a favor and not some type of ticket.

I have met the sheriff about a dozen times on the road. I never drive over 30 on the blacktop. It was starting to rain so I opened it up. He told me to keep it under 30 and have a nice day.
