I hear you. That back seat is like a lazy boy sometimes. I have an 04' and still comfy. I also like that its higher than the Driver. Enjoy

You decide for yourself. But I have to beleive that with two homes in NY - your not hurting for the price of a winch after youve made your deal.
Whodat
I talked to AC and they will pick up some of the cost of the winch. I told them the dealer gave me a good price on the TRV and was very nice to me and delivered it to my house at no cost. I told them by no means am I complaining about the dealer he's been there a long time for a reason (30yrs). I just wanted a fair price for the winch and something from AC for the special. Well after AC called him, the dealer called me and $269.00 it's mine 40 more and he will install it but I have no way at this time to get it to him. I will install it myself in fact the dealer told me he will give me some pointers on how to do it they really are sincere over there. Should take about 1.5 hours he said. Have you ever installed one? I'm not worried about the nuts and bolts just have some concerns on the wiring interfacing. I am assuming any special plugs or harnesses are supplied? Maybe a good idea to pick up some extra fuses. Although the dealer said it comes with instuctions.

lol - I've been either talking or typing all day...
It took me about 4 hours to do the first one. About 2 hours on the 2nd.
Its not to bad of a job and only simple tools are required. I would pick up a hand full of black tiewraps.
The people who write the AC install instructions must get fined for using to many words....
I'm going out to pull the throttle lever off so I can dip it in that plasti-coat after installing the heater on it.
busy busy busy

Hi whodat!
Well I just got home and I found out the TRV has it's limitations. 12" snow and a slight incline High or Low
gear. I started to install winch what a P.I.T.A. Assembled fine with plate, rollers etc. I didn't have a torx bit to mount it so I took a little time to to start the wiring. Mounted the solonoid, ran the switch cable, battery cables, and mounted the switch. Still need to mount winch (5min.) and run heavy cables. However something interesting when I removed the Pod cover to run switch harness there were two neoprene tubes. One was the gas tank vent and the other was just swinging in the breeze under the Pod cover I tried looking to see what it was for but I think the whole machine must have been assembled by Leprecons everything is so tight in there. For the life of me I don't know what it's for. It took me 20 Mins. just to find the plug off the Volt reg that the plug on the sw. harness attaches. Do you know what the other tube is for?

could it be crankcase breather. After driving home today in the car from upstate, I wondered if it could be a vacuum hose to the speedo to a pressure transducer to determine speed. Because when I was stuck in the snow with the revs high but no tire action it was reading 5-7 mph.
