Default HELP! 2003 Arctic Cat 500 w/ ITP 589's and Type 5 wheels

weez440 you said "put the lugs on so the flat end is facing towards the rims" I thought that the flat end is suposted to be on the out side. Why would it make a dif. if you did it the other way? Dont you run the risk of have the wheels be off center of the axle? I dont have a clue and was just trying to look at the logic of why they would lock on. The log nuts are like car lug nuts right?

i agree with kbplaza. i thought the tapered end of the lug nuts was to center the holes in the rim onto the hub around the lug.

wow those do look like great prices and if you get 4 or more tires shipping is free!! 26-10-12 dirt devils 56*4=224. i think thats a good price

I think you did it right weez. The tapered end does go toward the rim. I think the other two guys are right about that being how the rims get centered on the lugs. That's how it's done with cars and trucks anyway, and I can't see doing any different on quads.
