Today Arctic Cat planned on shutting down the production line for a short while to celebrate their first ATV with the new Arctic Cat built H1 650 motor. Look to see the new machines within a very short period of time at your dealership.

I can't imagine shutting down to celebrate when you have not even got them to the show room yet, that is not doing your customers justice.

My 2005 AC DVD shows a snippet of the H1 on the trail. I can't imagine this to be true. Maybe it's the end of R&D and they've finally started full production.

This was not to be posted as a negative but a positive in which Arctic Cat made the move to producing their own designed motor. It is not like they shut down for the whole day, just a short break to celebrate with their employees a new beginning in motor developement. I think it shows the people that work for the company their dedication into the ATV market and possibly the media may have been involved to do an upcoming arcticle on this milestone for Arctic Cat.

No one intended to step on your toes in particular AC500Auto. AC has had the H1 in Development for over 3 years now and they've had a working model for 6 months or longer. To be honest I think everyone (myself included) is getting sick of hearing about the H1. AC still hasn't produced it, they've kept it under tight wraps and such. First AC said they'd had no ETA on the H1 then the said they'd have it out in December, then January now March-February. It's kind of a roller coaster. We all know it'll be a great quad. ... and we get out hopes up every time there's a new post that says "H1" in the title. So please don't take offence. I have no idea how long you've been reading the posts on here as this is your second post as a member (Welcome to the site by the way), but there's kind of a history of frustration with AC regarding the secrecy behind the H1. Thus the tone in our posts.

Thanks for the info though! :-)

The H1's will start rolling out now that the roller bearings are in the trannys instead of the bushings! That's my guess anyway...odd how it was held up until Suzuki came up with the fix to the reverse problem? HMMM...
The H1 should be a really nice quad! The re-worked duramatic hooked to a new power plant should be a great combo. The black looks cool too, it's up on the site now...I'm excited to see the reveiws, AC is putting out a nice product! My Dad is a big AC guy (owns 3), and my father in law used to work for one of the dealerships years back...so I'm sure one of them will be getting one at some point!

ive called several dealers around my are to get some pricing on both the H1 and the V2's. A few of the dealerships already have the H1 on the showroom floor but only the main dealers were allocated one per location and each of them were the LE black editions. Prices were around 7400 for them.

Go test one for us! If dealers have them in...we should start to hear about the H1 this week!

No one has H1's yet. If they say they do take me a picture. They haven't shipped. :-)
