ok guys heres the situation. i had a 03 arctic cat 500 with a factory winch. i traded it for an 05 650, but before i traded it i took the winch,switch,and syliniod off. now i am attemping to mount it on my 650 and i have a few questions for yall. first off, on the switch cable there is a plug that it supposed to a 12volt plug somewhere on the bike. i have found one on the back by the regulator but is there another up front? My second question is where does the syliniod mount up? i cant seem to find a good spot for it. if any of you guys have your installation instuctions from your 05 400,500,650 could you scan and email to me at dunny_01@hotmail.com. Thanks in advance for any help.

 

I put one on my 05 500 ac, and the plug for your switch is at the steering column under in the cluster of wires. And the solenoid mounted at the front of the bike by thr radiator, there will be holes in the flat black brace. The Batt. cables are longer in the 05's winch kit. I hope this helped you.

The winch solenoid on my '04 650 is located on a small tray to the left of the battery in the battery box under the seat. The 12 V. connector is fairly close nest to the frame on the right side under the seat.
