Default Newbie with ignition problems

I have a 2004 Arctic Cat 400 Automatic ATV that is not starting. I live in rural alaska where the temps are average around 20-30 degrees during winter. I have changed out the plug for a hottter one but am having fouling problems very quickly. it seems to only want to run when it feels like it. I am thinking I might have carb problems. Any thoughts? By the way I am happy to be here it seems like a good forum.

If you're fouling plugs, you're flooding it. Could be the choke is sticking, or the float set too high. Either way, I would take a good look at those two things. Make sure your choke cable is coming back all the way.
