So if I wanted some non-mudder 6ply tires, what would be a good choice?

My buddy has mudlites, and I think they ride like crap, noisy and bumpy (on roads or hard trails). I like the ride of my stock radials, but they do handle like crap. Any tires with the best of both worlds?

I have had 489's, 589's and now I am trying out some Mudlites. So far I like the ride of the lites, not to loud or bumpy as you put it. The 589's were and awesome tire, they cleaned themselves very well in mud and seemed to be a smooth enough of a ride for me. However that is just my opinion.

If you want street style tires there are plenty out there. Might as well buy a polaris to go with them though...lol...just kidding.

Enjoy the ride!!

Chumley
Look at the maxxis big horn radials, from what I hear people are really liking them.

It's just prolly 90% of my riding is not in mud, so if I buy tires I think buying a mud tire prolly isn't the best plan for me.

Polaris....hardy har har!

Thanks for the advice, now to find the best price. My dealer has given me some pretty sweet deals (Dyna CDI $191) so I will definitely check there first. I only see one set on ebay, $354 shipped, doesn't seem too bad.

Now...to buy rims, or not to buy rims...
