3 wheel spin on '01 500 auto
#1
Hi guys,
Read some past posts about the "3 wheel spin" after I had the same problem while being stuck in the mud today.
I just want to make sure I understand it. When I have the "3 wheel spin" just keep letting it spin for a "few" seconds and wait for the front end to "lock up"? How fast should I be spinning/ reved out or just very slowly?
Thanks for you help in advance.

It usually takes proabbly 2-5 seconds to kick in. it really doesnt matter how fast you are spining. A trick that seemed to work for me is take Gm differental fluid and put in your front differental. it seems to make the clutches, in the differental, grab a little faster. also tap your brakes a littl bit. And the price you paid was a good deal, heck thats like us back here in the states paying $5400.

Never heard of the gm diff stuff on a cat since it has no clutches, but actualy a ratcheting conetype of differential. But the brake thing is something reagulary use.
