Belt Repacement Time

Default Belt Repacement Time

I have about 1800 miles on my 01 500 Auto and would like to change the belt .Should I use a factory or aftermarket .Were can I get them.How about a clutch kit for the Auto ? Any help ?

if you want a clutch kit i would either check out dahlton EPI or highlifter. as for replacing your belt the duramatic tranny and clutch setup is very easy on belts so if you haven't noticed any power loss and never slipped it you got many many years of life left on that belt i wouldn't worry bout it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I agree,with your clutch I would wait another 4-5000 miles before I thought hard about getting a new belt.Now if you had a kawi....................[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

if you had a kawi's clutch setup like said like heyyou and i then you would hate kawi and look forward to going to the new H1 arctic cat but i have slipped the belt when i got it wet on my 02 500 cat and i had over 1000 miles on it and it was still like brand new
