they are great and dont have very many problems. the only problem it that they have the semi indepentent rear suspesion with a straight axle. if are starting to get into the atv business that would be the atv to buy since the price is so low.

I guess someone else thought it was a great price on the bike too...hehe its long gone. Man it wasn't up for sale 2 days. Oh well back to looking at new ones. I was hoping to get a feel for the bike before buying a new one. Thanx for the input guys.

I just sold my 2001 ac 4wheel dr for 3000.00 . They are great machines , I loved the semi Independent rear suspention . The semi independent suspention works better for work than the independent because the rear end don"t sag when you hook a trailor to it , its got the best of both worlds.

I have an '03' 400 auto and absolutely love it. I'm having a minor upper-end power issue right now, but it's barely noticeable on the trails, except in long steeps and possibly dealer-related, (300-mile service). It hasn't stopped me from riding and loving this machine. Not sure about changes for '06', but my '03' is as solid as a rock... I had it out in very-varied terrain after work tonight and this thing rumbles through nearly anything. Not only do I thing the 400 is a great quad to start on - it's a great quad to keep for good....I paid $3500 for mine with 134 miles. I'm no expert, but everyone who'se seen it, has proclaimed it to be a sweet deal - I agree.

Good luck,,

Mark

My easy fix for a heavy tongue weight is to crank the rear shocks up to the heaviest setting. It doesn't squat then.
