Default FINALLY PICKED UP MY NEW QUAD

Well, I finally traded my 03 raptor 660, I was sick of buying used bikes and inheriting everyone elses problem. Amazingly enough the local Arctic Cat dealer was offering me the best deal around here on a trade. Pretty bad that they gave me more for my Raptor than the local Yammy dealership.

Anyway I picked up a 2006 DVX Tony Stewart Edition. So far it seems awesome, I have not went for a long ride yet, just ripped around my yard after I picekd it up.

Since this is my first new quad, I am wondering how I should break it in, is there any specific dos and donts?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well congrats on your Dvx it really rips. Not to much with break in just dont hammer the gas all the way down for a few tank fulls just keep it at around half throttle and vary the engine maybe give the throttle a hard stab every 1 tank full, I know it is hard to do when you get a new quad but just sit it out and good things take time but when it is all said and done it will be a little rocket, These engines are linerless I believe, Then change the oil ASAP I seen the tony stewart dvx that orange is wild, But I settled for the lime and black, Congrats

change the oil within the first couple of hours of riding it and check all other fluids. Some dealers are not real good and forget to put in the correct amount of fluids.
