Spark Plugs
#2
NO ,BUT 1ST MAKE SURE THE ENGINE IS CLEAN. ASSUMING ITS THE SAME AS THE 2002 500I,ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BIKE RIGHT BEHIND THE UPPER RADIATOR HOSE IS A BLACK WIRE. THAT WIRE CONNECTS TO THE SPARK PLUG. PULL THE WIRE OFF (TWIST A LITTLE IF YOU NEED TO IT MAY BE HARD TO PULL). ONCE THATS OFF,USE YOUR PLUG SOCKET THAT COMES WITH THE BIKE AND TAKE THE PLUG OUT. MAKE SURE THE THE GAP IS CORRECT ON THE NEW ONE( MANUAL TELLS YOU WHAT THE GAP IS) AND PUT IT BACK IN. IT GOES IN AT A SLIGHT ANGLE. SNUG IT UP PUT THE WIRE BACK ON ALL THE WAY AND YOUR DONE. ANY OTHER PROBLEMS LET US KNOW.

One tip if you have access to air, there is a tiny hole just below the sparkplug in the side of the cylinder head. If you blow into this with air hose the sparkplug boot will pop right off plus you will clean around sparkplug at the same time.
