The last ATV I owned was a Honda 185 3 wheeler 20+ years ago. I'd love to get back into the sport. Can y'all tell me about the reliability of the AC ATVs? I'm looking at the AC 400 4X4 manual and I'm also thinking about the Honda Rancher 350 4X4 manual. I'm just looking to do some light trail riding here in the Southeast and maybe some light yard work (pulling a small trailer). Poi.nters please Thanks!

i think ud go good with either quad. theyre both good and relieble... good for working... and not a problem for trail riding.

I think the Arctic Cat 400 4x4 is absolutely the way to go. Better ground clearance, better ride, nicer seat, more reliable engine. My buddy has a Rancher and it's a nice quad for sure, but has had repeated oil issues - even he's looking at an A/C 400. Plus, the MRP SpeedRacks on Arctic Cat are wonderful - tons and tons and tons of accessories. I have an 03 and it a tank. Go with A/C - you won't regret it...Good luck... Arctic Cat Website

i know the brand new honda's have disk breaks and you never specified what year it is. the drum breaks on the honda's are junk and the ride is horrible other then that honda makes a great atv. the cat 400 manual is probably the most reliable atv arctic cat makes. great suzuki motor and for trail riding if you encounter a tree over the trail or something like that the cat will handle it like a champ where the honda will be sitting there hung up then you gotta get off and lift. and if you go trail riding with alot of other people this can be embarassing where if you go right over it you can snicker to yourself when other people get hung up on these obsticles. i don't care what kind of trail riding a person does or how anyone uses their atv from time to time they will be glad they have the ground clearance of the cat and you never said what year cat you are looking at either so i dunno if it has diff lock.
