Kinda hard to tell from the pics, but when you slide off the face and see the shaft, it is very apparent what you need to take off. It will be a ring that is about 5/8 to 3/4 inch wide. With the impact wrench, we had the face off, the ring out and the face back on in about 45 seconds.

oh now thats a bit confusing. There is a collar ring as wide as you suggest just under this outer ring. The outer ring is about 25% of the belt width or about belt about 1/4 " wide. I can slide it along the shaft under the belt and it acts like a collar between the belt and shaft. I think thats the beast I need to remove but it certainly isnt as wide as you suggest. Im concerned if I need to remove the boss or spacer that is actually underneath it. That inner wider spacer is part # 21 in the schematic DVX drawing. The outer spacer I want to remove isnt even shown in the schematic for the DVX but it does show up in the 90cc utility schematic as part #30 ( http://www.worldofpowersports.com/oe...cat/index.html )

Mine may have been as thin as 1/2", I may be a little off on the width, but the bottom line is that it is WAY less wide than the boss, you will not confuse them. It really sounds like what you are looking at and talking about is the part that needs to go. When you are looking at it, it will all be so obvious, there is nothing that you will be looking at that would be mistaken for anything else. Then when you put it back together and ride it, you will notice the difference like night and day. On the 50 it made probably a 50-60% increase in top speed.

Ok, I took the 90 apart this evening to try and find this spacer. I was unable to find it . Can someone provide me some guidance? Here is a link to the exploded view of the clutch assembly. http://webservices.motorsportd...ES/IMAGES/0741-256.Gif I have also posted it in my photo section.
I pulled off the side of the case and saw the belt drive. I took the impact wrench and pulled off the centrifugal clutch housing. From there it looks like you need some kind of compression tool to compress the clutch spring to pull it apart any further.
Any help would be appreciated.

My son has 2005 AC DVX 50, and I am looking for the instruction to remove the limiters, he has out grown the original speed, and would like to go faster. Have done a search on the net but have not come up with any instruction, just to let you know I am not much of a MEC. Would like any help you can give.
Thanks
