Default buying an 06 400 4x4 ac

I read in another AC posting that someone's belt lasted over 500 miles. I would go with auto becuase there's nothing worse then trying to find a gear while your under water or in mud. Also, your wife will like the auto.

THIS IS MY FIRST TIME TO EVER WRITE ON ANY FORUM IN MY LIFE ! THE IMPORTANCE OF BUYING THE PERFECT 4 WHEELER HAS CAUSED ME TO DO THIS. I LIVE IN SW LA. MUD AND WATER IS THE NORM HERE. I JUST SOLD MY 2003 YAM.450 AUTO. BECAUSE IT WAS SO ROUGH TO RIDE. PERFORMANCE WAS OK. I WANT A BIKE TO RIDE SMOOTH, GOOD GROUND CLEARANCE, DEPENDEABLE, GOOD WARRANTY, LOTS OF POWER! THINK I WOULD LIKE F.I.. WILL 2007's be F.I.? $ IS NOT THE ? (NOT RICH, NO KID's)

OK! It's just some of us don't see as well as others. We e-mail each other in supervision at the refinery where I work in caps so some can see it better! Sorry......

I have owned 3 Arctic cat atvs, 2003 400 auto and 2003 500 auto. I sold both machines and bought an 2005 400 auto and like it alot! The 400 is a great quad and will do everything you need it to and more!! I like the 500 over the 400 because of the extra Hp but it is really not needed! Like everyone says the autos are bullet proof and have never been a problem unless you drown it! I like the gear drive for pulling and work and recommend the auto for trail/fun. Both will work and it's up to you! If you get the 400 auto you need to give it a couple hundred miles for break-in before it starts to run like a 400, It's not the fastest quad but it goes threw the mud and ruff areas wear it counts. Good luck!

Does anyone out there know when the 2007 models will be availible? I heard that there will be a 700 fuel injection and that is what I want.... I think.... Would there be any drawbacks on F.I.. I am waiting to find out some info before I go buy one. I am chomping at the bit but am waiting on info. first, because my next 4 wheeler will be the last one...... for a loooong time!

The 700EFI is suppose to be out in a couple of months and that's well before the 2007s will show up. Your eyesight can't be worse than mine. I'm almost 60 and wear tri-focals. I also have a 19" screen on the desktop, the laptop I squint alot and it has the wide screen.
