I just went & pulled the proverbial "Lever" for our next president (George W). I stood in line for almost an hour at 11:00 am which should equate to a fairly large turnout.

Who else exercised your right today????

CatLance:
Nice job on doing your part. I might be in a bit of trouble myself. Seems when I filed for an absentee ballot over a month ago, they never actually mailed it to me. I just figured it would show up during the week and a half that I was out of town, but no luck. After calling the auditors office, they said they weren't sure which address to send it to-my home town in the home county, or my out of town/out of county address! Apparhently the gal mailed it out first class yesterday and thought it should be here today, but we'll see.

My sister said I could use hers, and she'd sign it if mine doesn't show, so I guess that at least counts for something, but hey, the whole thing has still pissed me off. It will definately be a long day, that's for sure.

Hope all others are able to get to the booth today or the post office to mail in your ballots, this is the last chance we've got, lets make it count!

Mike

I stood in line for over an hour and pulled the same lever basically on the Second Amendment and smaller government issues.

Since I hunt and ride there really was only one choice, Bush. Being I live in a small town I only had to wait about 10 min.

Voted this morning, it took only a few minutes.

I am hoping that by living on the west coast my vote isn't needed in that George W. will already have kicked Gores rear by then.
