Hey wolverine ,my brother lives in Marshall and I am usually looking for more hunters .so when it gets tobe around that time maybe we can meet up ?

 

Sounds like a good idea. We generally don't go as far south as Marshall, but if the birds are there we probably will come.

where do you normaly go hunting ? lots of public land by Marshall ,we usually head west or south ,so lots of land .if your dogs are good ,it could be great fun .I have 2 labs one yellow one black .

I took my radiator off last night and the inside was COVERED in dried mud, so think it looks like cement. No wonder it was running hot. We are going to be gone all weekend but I hope to get it all together again next week. I figgered mud in the radiator was the root of your evil. The dried cement look is about right, because it sure looked like wet cement when we were playing in it.

 

went to spider lake today and it was beautiful. quite a bit of water for me to play in, the deepest being up to the headlights. i tried to find the place where catterman took that picture of himself in that deep water but unfortunately couldnt find it. if anyone knows where about that is please let me know. thanks.

 

Take 64 north out of motley about 30 miles, go right, or east on 2. Its the first gravel pit on the right hand side of the road. Down the road farther is the second gravel pit on the right

 

is it actually part of the spider lake trails or is it just a gravel pit out somewhere? thanks.

 

It is a part of spider lake. When you look at the map, you will see the two gravel pits on the very top. We camped at the one on the right, and that mud hole was on the left.
