One question, Why isn't this thread in the "Where to Ride" forum where it belongs?

Thanks, deanz. My nephew is near there right now w/the Mn Nat Guard. I was able to see him when I was there. I have a vidio clip of the base with lots of old pictures when it was built. Very nice place back in the day. I would offer to e-mail it to you, but it is too big. I know a huge amount of US $$$ is being spent to bring the base back to it's former glory.

well my dad got 2 bucks both of them were pretty decent about 16 inch inside spread. we are starting to do the management hunting for bucks on our land which started in 2003, we used to shoot alot of forks and spikes and never seen anything of size so we stopped shooting deer that the horns aren't past the ears and bam now we have lots of deer just like the ones my dad shot in just 3 short years. the next step now is to let the 16 inch inside spreaders go and just take the ones with 18 to 20 inch inside spreads and so on. where our land is at it allowes us with the amount of hunters around that particular area to do this and i for one am very excited for the future. and as for my 3rd weekend i didn't get anything i seen a couple bambi's thats it and well i think it is due to my gf talking the whole time and fumbling around. part of the reason i know that i didn't see that much is cause right before season the timber wolves came through our land which screwed up my hunting horribly. i hate them damn things.
