Give Darrell in the service department a call-
Glenwood Equipment- 320.634.5151
I told him about your wheeler and he had a theory on the problem, said there was a service bulletin. My name is Charlie for reference.
Keep us posted and good luck!

All AC diffs are the same on the outsaide... The 650 diff will fit right into a 500 or 400 for that matter.. I bought the internals of the 650 diff and i'm putting them in side my frt diff. I had to also buy the left side 650 axle bacause it has the locking teeth on the axle. I also had to buy the lock leaver that mounts on the handle bars. The bracket that bolts onto the frt diff to support the cable.. This has been done befor with other guys and has proven itself... I can help anyone with it if they would like.

QUOTE by v2rider: The best service i have ever had is from Kramer Sales in Maple Lake, Mn. It is a small town AC dealer/ repair shop for AC.
If you are way up Nort' try Hams Repair in Warren, Mn. It's about 30 - 45 minutes East of Grand Forks.

Thanks for all of the replies. I am still having the problems. I don't have web access at home, so I was not able to see/respond. I guess I should enter into the 21st century and get on-line. I am going to try Darrel at Glenwood because it is close.
I had my wife run the Cat this last weekend, so I could watch. I'm not convinced it is related to the front differential anymore. It seems to slip irregardless of the front differential response? Wish I knew more about the linkage from the engine back.

Again,
Have you ck'ed your Back lash in the frt diff? It involves taking the frt diff out... (Not that hard) I wish you were a little closer i'd help you get it going correctly... Have you looked into your clutch being bad?

Mark,
To be honest I am not sure what the dealer techs have checked. After the third trip back to the shop the service manager said they had "checked everything, consulted Arctic Cat Factory service folks, then basically rechecked everything again". The customer service reciept or work order doesn't detail what was done. Perhaps it would be worth my while to give Delano a call and ask them what exactly they did do.
I personally have not wrenched on it. It's only 4 months into it's two year warranty and slightly over a hundred miles, so I am expecting it to be fixed under warranty. I'm kind of a stubborn bastard on that point. It was one of the selling points when I bought it.
Are there ways to determine if the clutch is bad or needs adjustment without disassembling?
Dave

Mark,
Just curious, What was the cost and what would the expected time required to make this modification. Assume I have above average mechanical skills and a heated shop with all the tools needed. Would it be reasonable to get a mechanical drawing from the dealer to help assemble it?
When you complete this modification does the front differential operate in limited slip/locked differential/free wheel?
