06 artic cat 500 manual 5speed
#1
Just bought my first arctic cat and want to fixerup. Will a ramsey 3000 winch mount to existing bolt hole in frame or do they require a winch mounting plate? also where do I find aftermarket or factory bumpers, cv boot guards (not the flimsey stock plastic), how about exhaust systems to increase power? Any help would be appreciated! I want to add the new 14" itp wheels and tires , will I lose much power? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

You wont loose much power with the wheels but I would go ove a 26inch size. check out my pics. I have one also.
You can get your front and rear bumper at the AC dealer or online. there about the same price. Nobody sells them with discounts that I have found for AC equipment. The cv boot gaurds work pretty good but you can buy metal ones also but be careful because the metal ones can bend into the cv joint and rip it. You can check out articchat.com to see how to do a self exhaust mod to increase power. I dont think there is any aftermarket companies that make it. I can honestly say it doesnt need any more power if your just trail riding and mudding with it. cant answer your winch ?

I put that same 3000lb winch on my 06 AC 500 with the Front bumper replacement I got from the Dealer. But i had to drill and tap the Fairlead holes a size larger for the bolts that Waren sent with the Fairlead. But other than that Im happy with the winch and bummper i just Rino lined the racks and Front bummper. Hope that helps
