Default Any 300s with a big bore kit?

Yeah, it works ok- not awesome. I do have bigger than stock tires- I think it would really be a rocket with the stockers on it but thats a ton of swapping I don't want to do (no rims). The big difference is on bottom end- very little if any difference on top end. I did some real crude testing against a stock 300 and mine was consistantly faster even with the big tires but not by much. I think a gearing change or smaller tires like the 250s ran would be the biggest improvement you could do to this machine to give it more snort. I still am playing around with jetting and carbs and some other stuff so we will see what I end up getting out of it. So far I have about 400 miles on it since last month and its still not broken in totally as its still using a little oil. One thing I don't like about it is that it runs quite a bit hotter than stock- I have a fan kit on my machine and it hardly ever turned on unless it was like 90 and I was really working the machine hard, now it runs a fair ammount of time and I can feel the heat on my leg from the cylinder- which I had never felt before. I guess bottom line on this is if you want more power or speed just spend the money and get a bigger machine
