Default H1 or V2?

me and my dad used to have an old 92 honda fourtrax 200 and we still have it but somethin is wrong with the whole rear swingarm so were bringin it in soon and my dad wants to get a new ATV for hunting and recreational use and towing things aruond the yard for yard work..so we went to the dealer yesturday and got a price of $6,025 on an 06 Grizzily 660 and like $7,100 on an 06 650V2 AC..so then today we went to Gander Mountain and asked them about their prices..for a 2006 AC 650 H1 SE (black) we got a price of $6,683 and for the 06 650 V2 we got $6,450..so i was just wondering whats the difference of the V2 and V1 ( i kno the V2 is kawa. made and that) but i mean like whats the performance difference and power and all that..and which would be the best outta those 3 (grizz,V2,H1)..the H1 is the black Special edition with the front and rear bumper and hand guards and rims and that..so coudl someone please help me? Thanks eveyrone

Default H1 or V2?

I have a V2, and love it. But i also know the H1 is equally nice. It depends on what you want to do with it. The H1 has a lower low range for pulling. The V2 has a V-Twin, so it has more horse power and speed. other than that, they are basically the same thing. I paid 7300 out the door for mine. Look at my pics to see it. Also, the cats have the best ground clearance, speedrack options, manual diff lock, and other features. As for the Grizz, it is also a nice quad, but i like AC a little more.

Dont know the exact numbers on the HP. But its only 2-4 i think. Also the V2 tops at about 70mph in high, and 50mph in low. Catterman knows more about the H1, if he happens to read this he can help you on that a little more.

I think 70 is a tad generous for the V2's top speed. All the ones I've ridden with hit 65 (clocked with GPS) and stop there. If you drag a H1 vs a V2, it will be pretty even till about 50-55, after that the V2 will leave the H1 behind. I'm not positive about the top speed of the H1, but I don't think its gonna be much more than 60.

The H1 is a great worker with gobs of low end torque, but if you are a bit more aggressive when you ride, the extra power of the V2 will be appreciated.

They would be the same in that type of terrain.

Yeh, its the same machine, same suspension etc..

Only difference is how you want your power.
