Sources for used parts 2006-650 H1
#1
I'm looking to buy a 2006 650 H1 that has major wreck damage. Will need several replacement parts, like front A arm, brake assembly, rear fender assembly, foot rest, etc. It's a major project.
Naturally I don't want to buy new at MSRP$ when used will do. Anyone have any good used or new sources for AC parts?
How can I determine if parts from other models and model years are compatible?
Thanks in advance

Do a google search for alpha sports, they list part numbers and that would let you know what could be changed.
Just be careful that the frame is still good on it. Otherwise, except the motor and tranny most stuff can be changed with other 650 V2's, and 500's.
ebay is your friend! Contact a few of the companies that list parts for sale, as most will have other items too that are just not listed. I think it is very easy to find the parts you want cheap. As long as you are in no huge hurry. Good luck!

I know the frame is broke where the A-Arm attaches in the front. Strange but it's damaged in the front on one side and the rear on the other. I think it flipped. Pretty grusome looking.
What's the best way to check the frame overall?
Thanks in advance.

Gosh, I am not sure. You might want to ask the question over at Arctic Chat www.arcticchat.com and see what they say. There are about 20 H1 owners over there. Sorry my link button didn't work. Good luck.
