Clean all the battery cable connections (both ends, for sure the grounds). The winch has it's own battery wires seperate and make sure the fuse holders and ends of the fuses are clean.

I have checked all the fuses and the batt cables are clean. I can take a jumper wire and jump from the batt. to the ign. fuse and it will crank when you push the button. The key switch will notcut it off but when you take the jumper off it dies? Thanks for all the help so far. Anymore thoughts on this problem

Eddie

You need to get an amp meter with a continuity test or a test light (sold at any auto parts store)...start at your ignition switch with the test light and back probe the wires with the key on...then move to the kill switch do the same thing... sounds like you have a dead short in the wiring harness.

Check the fuse at the solinoid. That is your main feed for machine. This sounds like the reason for your problem but then you need to find out why you blew a 30 amp fuse.
