You will not have to rejet for a K&N filter. I do however reccomend bringing your stock filter with you incase it gets dusty. The K&N is a good filter for a small power increase, but if it gets dusty, it will let alot of that into your motor as well

There is a lot of "misunderstanding" in regard to the K & N.........mostly from folks that don't have one.

My proof comes from when i had my stock filter in, i rode gravels, and other dusty rides, and when i took my filter out to clean it, it was clean in the airbox. I recently put a K&N filter in, and after our Spider Lake ride, which ended up dusty at the end of the day, i took out the K&N to check the filter, and ended up cleaning dust out of the airbox. I like the K&N small power increse, and would reccomend catterman to buy one, but i also am telling you, from my own experience, carry your stock filter with you, because the K&N WILL let dust in. I will continue to use the K&N because it helps the machine breathe, and even though small, it is noticable. So yes Catterman, i would get one if i were you. It doesnt hurt to change it when it gets dusty on the ride, especially the dust from being behind me all the time
