Default front boot on artic cat

Directions

You don't have to take the axle out, however it would make it easier. A good tug is all it takes. Good luck.

And welcome

You don't have to remove axle from machine but you do have to pull axle out of front diff. Everything unloads from the inside to the outside. You need to take off tire, brake caliper, bottom bolt on shock, upper A-arm bolt at spindle, inner boot clamps, pull boot back and rmove retainer ring, pull axle out, remove cv-joint, inner boot, outer boot, clean and reassemble. You can leave cv-joint hub in front diff or jerk out the whole assembly. Hope this helps, TORK
