400 Auto 2006

Hello
I got a question about using snythetic oil in a 400 auto. I was wondering how many of the 400 auto owners run snythetic oil. My dealer likes snythetic oil but not in the 400 auto. Something to do with limited slip cluch. Opinions Please and thanks.

Use the synthetic, it is great. The AC stuff is great, but I use the Amsoil.

Tork Thanks.
Thats what he said wet clutch. I guess I don't understand it. But my cousin tried regular high grade motor oil and the clutch started slipping. His dealer told him to get that oil out. He did and it cleared right up. I guess the oil has to have some special additive in it to work with the wet clutch. Well anyways thanks. Keppy

You only want to use oil for ATV or Motorcycle or your clutches will slip. Auto oils have "scubbers" in them that do a good job of cleaning an engine but not trans-engine combo with wet clutch. Scubbs your clutches real good and smooth.
