i was wondering if you all could tell me the pros and cons of these ac.i am thinking about buying a new 4x4 quad, and all i have ever rode is honda! it pisses me off they will not put a differential locker on them and i shouldnt have to spend another 300 to get one on a new quad. my question is, in the 5000-6000$$ range whats the best ac has to offer, and what makes it good? any help would be appriciated

with the arctic cat you get the most ground clearance you get the mrp rack standard the diff lock standard a ton of aftermarket upgrades. and for about 6500 i think you can get the 650 H1. my parents have honda's and they are a very good machine they have had excellent luck with them but i have had the same excellent luck with my cats. as for the polaris well i will just leave it at this, they are the highest maintanance machine on the market. but they do have a nice ride. what size are you looking at getting? oh the cons of the cats are the tires they come with are junk but most people get aftermarket tires as soon as they get their atv's anyways.

My first atv was a 1986 honda trx 350 foreman fulltime 4wd it was built like tank but would beat you to death because of the heavy straith axel front end, i sold it to my brother sept 2005 and he is still riding it every chanch he get's ! My second was a 93'suzuki KQ 300 4wd 5 speed manual shift with 2wd,4wd,diff lock and a sub transmission, high, low and super low ! 4 wheel irs with a very quite engine to sneek around on, both the honda and suzuki were tough quad's, i bought my 3 rd quad feb 7th 2006. It's a arctic cat 400 fis trv with auto trans with the suzuki engine/belt driven clutch . I never thought i would ever own a quad with a belt drive untill the dealer told me since the 2001 not one had been brought in for belt clutch problem, and i knew her since grade school ! So far it has been a great machine since day one ! I sold my suzuki to my brother's wife a week after i got the cat and i love it, it sit's taller and is wider than the honda and suzuki this make's it harder to get around on real narrow trail's in the wood's. But it has a better ride more ground clearance and goes anywhere and everywhere i ride, and i ride some rough mountain trails' with deep creek's huge rocks and boulders with ease. You can get the manual shift if you don't want the auto, i don't knock any brand's, ride them all then deside whitch one you like best..............williebee
