I'm looking at custom rims and tires for my quad on ebay. Is there anything I should be considering when buying the rims? I had one guy tell me that Polaris rims fit Arctic Cat with no problem. This made me reconsider doing the ebay thing. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I, myself have bought a ton of various stuff on Ebay, I love it, the best piece of advice I could give you is ask as many questions about the item as you can. If the seller is being to vague or doesn't want to answer you, leave it alone. The more questions you ask, the more informed you are going to be about the item you are looking at.

 

I've never heard of the polaris/arctic cat rim swap, but even if it were possible with some year models, it wouldn't be possible with all years. Bolt pattern and spacing info. on either of the bikes you're thinking of using for a swap would be available on the net or in the owner's manuals. As for shopping on ebay, just make sure the seller you are buying from has sold quite a few items and has a really good approval rating and you should be fine.

 

It's not possible for all Polaris rims to fit Arctic Cats. As for Ebay, I spend a lot of money on there with no problem! Just be sure to use pay pal, if something goes wrong, they will pay you back!
