It would happen because that 900-1000 pound machine (thats with you on it, full tank of fuel and oil)with those little brakes, wouldn't be able to hold it back. It would run you and your machine over, don't believe me try it, try stopping a rolling load with that weight on a steep grade. There are many factors as why they put this limit on this machine. Sure they can move enormous loads, on flat and level ground, but can they stop those loads at speed to avoid a collision or going down hill. All you need to do is think a little bit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm sure you will agree it all comes down to common sense there it lots of folks over here go cropspraying with the quad and logic sprayers which when full must weigh 1000kgs plus and a high centre of gravity which can be scary although not nearly as scary as just driving our old polaris 6x6 diesel around that was a killer machine not even I would try and go seriously off road with it. but like i said its pretty much like the saltwater plains here in suffolk england.
Were still looking at the arctic cat but only if i can buy one cheap as it is my intention however highly i rate the bike to keep my 500 honda foreman as its the only fun i get since I sold my banshee and without a petrol quad i might as well hang myself now. .
