Default Re-jetting

I bought an HMF pipe for my 06 650v2. The dealer told me it would not need to be re-jetted as he says they have installed over 50 and never had to re-jet.Well I installed the pipe and rode it up and down my street a couple of times and saw that the pipe was glowing red (it looked like molten metal). Anyway I ordered a jet kit . Does anyone know what size jets would work the best? As I understand this you have to take the carbs off;then try a new jet ; drive it to much to little ; take carbs back off try another jet. It seems like there should be a better way. By the way the dealer told me the pipe glowing red was normal.

I have HMF + K&N and I run DJ126 front and rear. Without the K&N you could probably start one size smaller and work from there.

50+ installs and they don't know they need to rejet.....yikes. Scary.

By the way, the glowing pipe is NOT normal. Seriously...that dealer is unbelievable.
