Skid Plate Question
I have a 2004 AC 650 V2, and cant seem to find aluminum skid plates for it anywhere. Could someone please point me in the right direction.
Also looking to do some upgrades to it as well. Dont really have any idea where to start. Probably need to start with some fairly inexpensive upgrades but want to do all I can eventually.

Not do discourage you but the stock skidplate is about the best going. Something too rigid could bend a frame if you smack it hard enough. The plastic has some give and sometimes will allow you to not get high centered from a single rock or stump.
I did run across a place for metal skidplates but can't find the link right now.
One of the best upgrades that I did was to put 1 in spacers on each wheel. Now have 50 in wide wheelbase. Really makes the bike stable and lessens the tippy feeling. Off camber turns and traversing across hills is a breeze. An added bonus, when you get into other ATV ruts you have 2 inches of one side up getting better footing.
The other good investment was a Venom winch. Cheap money but works good.
Other than that some tires to suit your riding. For general trail riding and all around use on mostly dry surface then probably the OEM tires that came with your machine will do.
