I was riding my AC 250 today and managed to get a hole in the side of one of my front tires that is unfixable with a plug, now being that it is the holidays there is nowhere to get it fixed. I recently got a new set of back tires and still have the old set. The front tires are 23-8-12 and the old set of back tires are are 24-9-12, my question is can I put the old set of back tires on the front, will they fit and it so will it make a big difference? I just need to use it for a couple of days until the repair shops open. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Yea, it will be ok for good if you air up your rear tires about 3 psi more to compensate for tire diameter change.

If your AC250 is not 4x4 the tire diameter differance shouldn't be a problem. However if it is 4x4 then you will need to air up the rears as Boner said to offset the diameter differance.

WRONG guys if its a 4wd & your putting a rear ( larger ) on the front ( smaller ) you will need to put less air in it to make it smaller to match. It wont hurt your bike to run it a few days, it's an oppen diff.

No-- cause I said to air u the rear tires, this will make the rear tires larger than the fronts.

Since he was asking if it would hurt his bike I assumed he had a 4wd. But look bellow.

A assumeing will make and an ***(ume) out of (***)U(me) and (assu)me.

***-u-me
