Arctic XT 650 dies
#1
I was driving my friend's 2007 650xt down the driveway; it started sputtering and died. Thought it was the battery because it would turn over intermittently. Hooked up jumper cables to the XT first, positive terminal made the cable clip extremely hot quickly. Seems like it's an electrical problem. Any tips?????

Have the battery tested, it may have shorted out and died from old age or defect. Check all fuses and relays, then check the wiring harness for any wires rubbing against the frame or each other. If it's still under warranty, have the dealer do all this and repair whatever is necessary.
