Only do the new Pipe if you dont mind your bike being louder than it is. If you want to keep the same acoustic properties then I recommend this:
1. Make sure your Air FIlter is clean
2. Do the Carb Slide Mod here (http://www.arcticchat.com/foru...x.php?showtopic=65470) See the post by Rango726, you'll need a login acct to see the pictures.
3. Look into changing your jetting, a Dynojet Kit is nice, but could take some work to get right. Could give you 2 more HP
4. There is a CDI replacement sold by RMSTATOR on Ebay for 80-90 bucks that advances the timing 5 degrees and allows a 1000 RPM increase. (Use at own risk) I just bought one, dont know how well it works yet.
5. If you add a K&N air filter, there is a cover filter for it that will keep dust from going through. Dont use it without the dust cover.
That's about all I can think of right away...

Check out my post about "air-jetting", cost about $3.00 to $6.00. Might be what the doctor ordered. You can do a search for the topic.
