Default help with 02 375 auto

Hi all, new to forums, I was told to come here for some help. so here goes..I have a 2002 ac 375 auto with 2598 miles, bought in 03 and have never had to fix anything. I use it for plowing and a few weeks ago I was plowing and when I turned around I suddenly lost all power from motor. It will idle great no problems no misses no colored smoke nothing, but when I hit the throttle it dies, just shuts off. If I put the choke on all the way while I hit the throttle full I can get it moving but then I have to roll the choke off when I get it up to speed and if I power down I either have to put the choke on again or it just dies. Ive tried all I know and now its in the shop and the carb is fine ,coil, cam, internal parts fine, valves were good they said they adjusted them. someone told me it could be the cdi and I was wondering if there was a way to check it? The shop said no and I am going to pick it up today cuz I cant afford to have them not fix it anymore, Ive looked up the cdi and its around 400.00. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it as I am lost without my plow. thanx

try running a can of seafoam through your tank you can get it at most autoparts stores. the stuff is excellant. ive never heard bad review of this stuff ever. ive got an 06 400 and ive used it since day one and my carb looks brand new. imo i would think something in the carb. does the atv still do this if your headlights are off. something else to look at is your magneto. if your magneto isnt putting out enough power at idle. im not really sure to be honest. just things ide look at.
