Well I just pulled the trigger on a new 07 H1. I just could not pass up the deal. Along with the reduced price and the 3.9% money I get an additional $300 rebate from Arctic Cat and a $200 gift card from Gander Mountain in the deal. Not to mention an additional 18 months warranty. Now I am going to need a service manual. The owners manual ain't much help. It is too generic. The wife gets this one and I will stick with my Honda Foreman. Ain't life grand?

Wow you got a really good deal, spend that $200 on a winch, you probably won't use it that much but when you do you'll be glad you did.

Arctic Cat will pay for those for 2 years. I am saving my money to pay for new CPU's for my Honda Foreman. The warranty runs out on it in 4 months and I am on the second one already.

How did you break 8 axles already? I ride in the mud alot and on trails. the only thing i've done so far is put on 27in. swampwitch tires (made a big difference). In the last three months ive pulled out alot of 4 wheelers (allkinds) that were stuck.
Used the warn2500 winch once on a full size chevy 4x4 that was bottomed out in really deep mud. (gotta admit, that was fun) He diddn't think a little 4wheeler would get him out.
As for power, I read on another forum that the Calif. air resource board rated the 650h1 at 39 hp. ...I wish... Dynojet says 27.06 and 29.11 after rejetting..
HMF manf. said 27.3 and after a new slipon pipe, air filter, and rejetting (done correctly of coarse) a 4.3 hp gain on the low end of power band, 2.5 low to mid range.
Been trying to do my homework on them and talking to alot of riders for info.Still want to know about the axles though.
Last thing I heard is the 08 650H-1 rerouted intake to the air box. now goes up instead of foward, and air tubes going to clutch redone and A/C says it almost doubles air flow to clutch. no mud guards in wheel wells either, they took them off.

Mudbug,
On the Prowler forum he says he broke them a Prowler. I would not give too much credence to what he says. Take it for what it is worth. JMTCW

gottcha
I'm rejetting my H-1 middle of the week. Just can't resist. I did my vtwin 1400
and it was allittle tricky, but well worth it. Read a few articals and ask many questions before I did it. I am a tech (about 15 years) and have this-gotta play with it- attitude..lol.

this article was pretty straight forward. Mike

Right now its 42 on the pilot jet and 135 on the main jet.
plug looks great, fuel screw about 1 7/8 out now..
Changing to HMF slip-on in about 2 weeks and will increase the pilot
to 45 and main to 138 or 140 and start doing a few plug checks from there.
Wish someone around here had a 4 wheeler dyno so I could be more precise
on low mid & high range. Fuel screw should go to 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 out..

Let you know more when I get the pipe on. you find out anything
let me know will ya. You gonna put on any pics?
