:beer; has anyone got some kind of big bore kit for there 06 400 4x4 fis? if so where did you get it,and how does it work? thanks

 

its tough to find one for the 400 because it is air and oil cooled and with the bbk your boosting heat. so its a risk with the 400. www.fourstroketech.net they say they have them but im pretty sure thats for the liquid cooled 400. allthough ive never seen a liquid cooled 400. but give them a call and let me know what you find. i know a guy who says his engine builder does one for the air cooled 400 he says he gonna do it for his wifes 400. it bores it to a 450 i believe maybe a bit higher but not much. ill talk to him tonight and get the info

 

rango! thanks for the info,iv already talked to hot seat,and the other one and they said no,so if you can get the info on the other guy sweeeeeeeeet! think ill let his wife try it out first to see how long itll stay togethere. can you get mechanics ph.no. like to know if it will stay together. thanks rango,your a gent!

 

fourstroketech isnt hot seat performance. the guy i know has a 650 bored out to a 880 i believe. he says the biggest worry is over heating. if you go to www.arcticchat.com sign up and look for crazy yooper. hes the guy with the bbk for his 650 and will be getting it for his wifes 400. he can give you all the info you need. i will also talk to him and get the info to post up on here for others. i have been cosidering doing a bbk on my 400 but i will do a bbk when my motor goes to hell.
