Default Thunder cat 1000

Do you find any issues or with your spike load dampener? I do agree with 100% about the electronic diff lock. My 08 had several problems as well but agree again that the 09 models are very solid and reliable.

did you trade in your 08? if so how much did they give ya. so out the door what did it cost you to trade a year newer? so far i've had no problems but i've only got 250 miles on mine

to bad i can't think of everything on one thread, called speedwerxs today. ask if i would be doing the clutch install. said no i'd probably have it done he said even though it's more he would go with the slip on until i had time to play with the clutch. right now i'm undecided.

No I didn't trade my 08 reason being I wanted to recover as much money as possible. I got 10,000 for my 08 but that's Canadian. As far as the speedwerx add on's I still think the clucth kit will serve you better to start and it's only half the price. 09 T-CAT.

i have a thundercat on 32 silverbacks it turns them great but the clutch rear end that they put in slipps so i had to weld it together never broke a belt you break belts if you dont have a enough power

tsking my tcat to a specialty shop to run a dyno on it and fine tune it. this shop does all types of bikes as well as cluth kits-turbo-nos all the go fast stuff. i'm not doing any mudding just sand. thanks for the info

i welded it up but be careful i broke the weld but welded it again i have 32 silverback

Hey Drewsimmons how difficult was it to weld the diff? The problem is down here that no one really knows how to do it. I would be happy to do it cause my dealer told me he would figure a way to help me warranty wise. 09 T-CAT

tcat on highlifter.com artic cat fourm has pictues and directions for welding the spike load dampner fix this is the thread tittle also.
