Thanks to all of you! At least now I know that I'm only limited to what my wallet will endure. When I've made my decision, I'll get back and let you know. Of course, I'm always interested in more information, so if anyone else wants to chime in....

I had 27 mud lites on my 700 with a dayton clutch kit...I hated it. I found it lacking power and respose. Braking was not that good, and centre of gravity was way to high on side hills. I switched to 26" and there seems to be a big difference, I should have went back to 25". But I mostly use my quad for trail riding in the mountains, not mud boggs. Good luck

yeah ive got 27"mudlites on my 500 auto.i was thinking of going same size all around just to give it a beefer look.12 wide rear 9 wide front is what i have now.id like to go 12 all around.but wondering the same as you are ,if stress will be put on the front if i go that route.but these mudlites will go though anything so far.hill climbing, limbs and small laid over trees, and mud up to my ankles.and thats without fourwheel engaged.these tires are the only ones ive had besides stock so i cant really tell ya about any other brands..........
