I have 4 identical 2004 250 2x2 and one I ride every week or two, the other 3 have sit up 6 months. Now, they won't start. Remove air filter, put gas in, they run long enough to burn the gas up.

Question: Is it valves? I have read a few threads. If so, how do I set them.

If carb, how do I clean it without screwing it up. It's held in place by rubber hoses on each side. One dealer told me to pull it out and tap on the bottom side in case the float was stuck.

Anyone now where I can buy a good service manual, I'm talking like the dealers have ($60 or so).
