Default belt problem

I have a 2003 arctic cat 400 4x4 and i started to notice that when i took off to accelerate that my belt would slip and we just went riding just a couple a days ago and it was pretty muddy where we were so i thought the belt probably got wet. and i was talking to my freind about it and he said on his grizzley he has a plug he can pull to let the water run out and i didnt know if there is one on mine too. does anyone know? or will the the belt dry by its self.

and does anyone know if my bolt pattern and a 2002 polaris sportsman 500 have the same bolt pattern?
thanks guys

Default belt problem

I have an 04 400 4X4 and it on the right side underneath the clutch plate. If it is dry in there your belt might just be worn down.
