looking into Swamp Lites to replace my stock Badlands, my concerns are in the rear tires alone, the 26-9-12 front shouldnt be any trouble because Im only gaining 1/2 inch. But Im concerned about the 26-12-12 or should I just stay with the rear stock size of 26-10-12? Im going from 25s to 26s the local guy intown said no worries there. What about ITP rims as well....any thought?

wider isnt gonna make much of a difference as well as the hieght. the tire will just weigh a little more than stock. im running 28" swamplites on my 500 and it turns them just fine. i like having the same size tire all the way around for the fact i can rotate them. plus its kinda better for mud b/c you dont push the thick nasty mud and get stuck as easy with the rear bing wider. the itp rims are good rims. i have a set of polished aluminum with 27" 589s and a black set with the 28" swamplites.

i have a set of 28x10x12 swamplites i'm selling for 300.00 or best offer. i ran them for a while and they did fine. the only reason i'm getting rid of them is because i got a set of silverbacks for cheap and i like them better. these tires only have 50 miles on them. they are excellent for trail riding

I have 26" Swamplites on my 07 AC 400 on ITP SS 108 Wheels.
the Front are 9x12 and the rear are 12x12. The ITP wheels make them stick way out of the fenders and will sling mud on ya. I should of went with 10x12 on the rear which I will probably switch out soon. Other than that they are great in mud and on rocks and I don't notice any if a little change in power loss.

mr moose, its not so much the tire width that will stop slinging mud on you as much as it is the rim off set. i forget the exact measurment but if the rim is a 7 inch rim(width) then you can get off sets of 1+6, or 2+5,ect...notice these measure out to be 7 inches (this means 1 inch wider than stock or 2 inch wider than stock.) the more the offset the more mud but the bike will be more stable. in my pics the rims are 2+5. a total of 4 inches wider than when it was stock.
