Please has anyone else had this problem
My artic cat will run great we stop it walk around have a drink then go on to the next spot then we will stop it and it does not want to start. There will be fuel leaking out near the key switch and black smoke when we try to start it. it will eventually start if we keep the throttle all the way down. Have had it back to the dealer 3 time they have adjusted the needle and changed the fuel filter but it still does not work. and now my 07 is starting to do the same thing.

 

sounds like a choke is stuck...the gas a the pod is the float bowl drain tube. put my money on the choke. and thats why its hard to start and black smoke when you crank it cause its rich. try inspecting your choke cable and spray it down with some wd 40 or something. many have had this prob but its an easy fix...
