Better CV boots!!!
#1
After ripping my third CV boot a few days ago and having the previous two boots repaired at the dealer for 140 bucks each time, I looked for something better. By the way, I had Oxlite Guards installed after the first tear!
I went to an auto repair place that specializes in front end/CV type car repairs. The guy replaced my torn outter boot, and my inner boot that was not damaged.
He replaced them with better and MUCH THICKER AND STRONGER boots than thoes that were on there! And the charge was 100 bucks cash!
The boots were the same size but much better. The new boots are much stiffer and thicker and much better quality. I am sure they not be so easy to tear! He said they were automobile cv boots.
I'll be back as soon as the other side rips to have them replaced as well. It is just something you might want to check into before you get another torn boot.
