HELLO DOES ANYONE KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS I HAVE A ARCTIC CAT 2000 MODEL 300 IT HAS THE PULL SELECTOR ON THE RIGHT SIDE FOR 2 TO 4 WHEEL DRIVE. WHICH IS 4 WHEEL DRIVE PUSHED IN OR PULLED OUT I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO FIND A MANUAL FOR IT. THANKS

its not hard to find out, push it in first and pull a wheelie from stand still and look at the front tires? if u cant see it then turn the handlebars in the air

you could always riase the rear tires off the ground, and try the lever. the 4x4 lever position will pull the atv ahead. just DONT raise the rear end too far off the ground, just enough so the tires dont touch

When I bought my used ATV I put it up against a big tree (wall will do) and put it in low range and gased it, and it dug 4 holes,thats how I tested if the 4x4 worked.

Pushing it in is 4WD

It throws the fork forward, which slides the gear over the drive shaft and pinion.

A freind of mine has one of these is there a trick to change it in and out of 4 wheel drive it doesn't seem to want to pull out thanks.

ive never seen id done , only heard about it. on the 300 people were saying the lever/rod for the 4wd will go farther and actually lock all 4 wheels in to give you full lockers. instead of 3wd i had one in 99, but when i heard about it i had aleady sold it to find out.

yep.. you can bend the rod that pushes on the engagment lever and it will lock'em up!
