Swaping a 06 on command front differential to a 02 wolvy
I have a 02 wolverine that I have tore down and rebuilt with everything off the 06 big bear except the rear end it's still from the wolverine my question is is the big bear front the same gear ratio as the rear or is it going to be dragging the front when u engage it. I am fixing to order axle for it and don't know if I should put the 02 wolverine front end back under it or use the on command

If you have already done the rebuild. Lift all four wheels off the ground. Mark one rear wheel and both front wheels at their lowest points. Out of gear, engage 4WD and turn the rear wheel one full turn by hand, apply parking brake. If it isn't already, set one front wheel to it's lowest point, and check if other front is also at it's lowest, if it isn't, the ratios must be different. If it seems slightly out, repeat turning rear wheels a few more times, any difference will multiply. This assumes same outside dia of tyres on both front and rear, if they are supposed to be different (Honda 300s are) working out ratios, gets a lot more complex.

I went using at mines and meadows this weekend and with approximately 5 miles on my new 30 inch splendid ATV intimidator tires I busted a rear CV and also destroyed the whole front differential. I'm looking at swapping a one thousand differential and just seeing what all I need to try this. I plan on placing rhino axles in all four after the swap additionally.
